hey hey it's been a long long long long time since I've last blogged. There are lots of photos that I have yet to upload. So let me blog some things which I can still remember one at a time.
(i) Singapore Youth Festival 2008
Somehow I'm glad that we only got Gold with Honours. Though we failed to bring back the title of The Best Display Band (making it our 6th consecutive win), I realise that I gain more things through this experience. If we didn't get GWH only, I wouldn't realise how much the TK friends cared about us. Thanks to all those who sent smses to motivate me before the competition and to cheer me up after the results. It was really heart warming to see the NCC guys cheering one band member after the other back at school. Thanks to AVA for making the SYF video. Nicholas! I want a copy of that. Well I wouldn't say that we are defeated. The day TK BAND lose will be the day any other band win the BEST DISPLAY BAND title for 6 consecutive time.
(ii) Mid Year Examinations
It is still not good. BAD BAD BAD! BUT at least I made improvements. Small improvements for some and huge drop in the other subjects. err can't I just maintain my good marks! sad! My results aren't something I am proud of but I still wanna Thank God for helping me pass them all! Yes and for the first time I got 23 for section 2! I'm already happy because my English has always been just "ok ok" only. JiayoU! I must achieve all my aims by Prelims to ensure that everything will go on smoothly for O levels! Ability to Succeed!
Yes and last Sunday, I finally went back to church!! Thank God! But I didn't went back to my previous church, instead I went to City Harvest and I simply love it! Kept crying during prayers etc because I was touched. Pray that I'll continue to go back to church each week. Haha and after church I took a train down to Airport (bcos it's only one train station away) for lunch. Singapore Changi Airport =) whee!
current aim: To do well in the coming G.C.E. O-level MT! I want to clear it in June, so that I can concentrate on my other subjects! all the best everybody!
